Privacy Policy

Crabtree Labz respects your privacy. Our sites are intentionally simple: no cookies, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. We don't collect personal data.

This policy covers every Crabtree Labz site:

1. What We Don't Do

None of our sites use any of the following:

Your browser is not tracked, profiled, or monitored.

2. Everything Loads From Our Own Sites

Pages, images, fonts, scripts, and downloads all come from the site you're visiting. Opening one of our pages doesn't contact Google, a font service, or any other company. (The one exception is a video you choose to play; see the next section.)

The small amount of JavaScript on our sites only makes the pages work: menus, tooltips, copy buttons, music players, and checklists. None of it collects or sends information about you.

3. Videos

Some pages include videos hosted on YouTube. They don't load until you press play, so YouTube doesn't hear about your visit unless you choose to watch.

When you press play, the video loads from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment YouTube, which is owned by Google, receives information such as your IP address and may store data in your browser, as described in Google's Privacy Policy. On some pages a video is simply a link to YouTube instead.

4. Saved in Your Browser (SugarTickles Walkthroughs)

The SugarTickles game walkthroughs let you check off steps as you play. Your checkmarks and your place in the guide are saved in your own browser, using its local storage. They never leave your device and are never sent to us.

To erase them, use Reset progress on the walkthrough, or clear site data for sugartickles.com in your browser. No other site of ours stores anything in your browser.

5. No Forms, No Accounts

Our sites have no contact forms, sign-ups, accounts, or comment boxes, so nothing you type on our pages is sent anywhere. If you ever email us directly, we use your message only to reply: we don't sell it, share it, use it for marketing, or keep it longer than necessary.

6. Hosting and Server Logs

Our sites are hosted on GitHub Pages, run by GitHub, Inc. Like any web host, GitHub may record basic technical information when your browser requests a page, such as your IP address, for security and to keep the service running. See the GitHub Privacy Statement.

We don't receive or look at those logs, and we don't combine them with anything else.

7. Links to Other Sites

Our pages link to other websites, for example to credit sources or to a game's store page. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

8. Children’s Privacy

Crabtree Labz does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

If we ever add anything that involves data collection, cookies, or analytics, we'll update this policy first and change the date at the top.
